Benow Festival 2026

The 2026 edition of BENOW Festival, hosted at Falmouth Art Gallery, invites everyone to celebrate and explore the rich culture of the women, and gender non-confirming folk of Cornwall. This year’s theme is Women In Words.

Passionate about writing or storytelling? Join us on the 20th and 21st of March for a vibrant two-day festival where Cornwall’s women creatives come together to express themselves, spark their creativity, and build meaningful connections.

The festival is open to all—welcoming people of every gender and background—the workshops, events, and activities are led by individuals who identify as women or are gender nonconforming.
This festival offers a space for everyone to connect with, learn from, and contribute to the stories and voices of the women of Cornwall. Through a range of workshops, activities, and events, we will explore the art of the story in all its forms—through spoken word, creative writing, untold and unheard stories, film, and more.
