Community Gallery: Seabed
Dive into the deep with “Seabed” by Naomi Hart.
This captivating installation currently in our community exhibition space is inspired by Naomi’s time spent with scientists from the Convex Seascape Survey on the Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland. There, she created stunning field sketches of vital research activity, and produced fascinating paintings of microscopic invertebrates using pigments made from various collected sediments.
Don’t miss the beautiful bedspread hanging on our stairs made in collaboration with asylum seekers and refugees in Exeter using salvaged and donated fabric.
Come explore the beauty of our seabeds and their vital ecosystems.
On display now until the 5th Oct!
