Magic of Movement: Closing Celebration

Join us at Falmouth Art Gallery for the final day of The Magic of Movement exhibition.

This show explores how the unique movements, interactive nature, and stories of automata can create meaningful connections, invite personal interpretation, and support well-being in the moment.

Experience the enchanting automata from the gallery’s collection and discover the stories that came to life when this travelling exhibition visited memory cafes across Cornwall, engaging people living with memory loss.

Enjoy works by automata artists Fi Henshall, Keith Newstead, Peter Markey, Paul Spooner, and Carlos Zapata alongside paintings by Winifred Freeman, Charles Napier Hemy, John Singer Sargent, and John William Waterhouse.

Plus, don’t miss a live performance by the Red River Singers, who will share songs inspired by the artworks on display.
