Home-Ed Workshop: Electronic Music & Art

Come along to this hands-on workshop at Falmouth Art Gallery on 20th May to explore the mesmerising world of electronic music and visual art, where technology and creativity meet. You’ll learn how to:

Make images move, glitch and warp (even using gaming controllers!)
Programme cool beats on drum machines
Create amazing sounds on modular synths

Using state of the art equipment, you’ll discover how some of the techniques are also applied in electronics or engineering careers in areas such as space, marine and renewables.

You’ll also find out about free software so that you can continue exploring at home.

This free workshop will be run by Moogie Wonderland as part of the Cornwall Youth Noise Orchestra project. It has been made possible thanks to support from Arts Council England.

Ages: 12 – 17.

Please note that this workshop may include occasionally loud or complex noises, and flashing or busy images.
