Join us this May half term at Falmouth Art Gallery for a week of free, family-friendly creative workshops inspired by our new exhibition Where Are We? — Exploring art and technology in Cornwall and looking at how it could be used in the gallery space to offer alternative ways to explore our collections and exhibitions.

Each day offers a unique hands-on activity led by a different local artist:

Saturday 24 May – Celebrate the launch of the exhibition at our special Private View event. Drop in between 10am and 1pm to create captivating ocean-inspired collages with artist Jo Lumber, and create underwater soundscapes.

Tuesday 27 May – Join artist Eve Bourrat for a playful workshop building your own cardboard robots using simple automata components.

Wednesday 28 May – Explore the power of light and colour with artist Sam Bradbury, designing glowing artworks that come to life under blacklight.

Thursday 29 May – Get inventive with Sam again to create your own 3D game avatar using card cuboids. You’ll cut, decorate and assemble your own character to take home.

All workshops are free, drop-in, and open from 10am–1pm. Suitable for families and children of all ages — no need to book.
