A Banking Hub is now available at Falmouth Town Council’s offices on The Moor.

The hub provides access to everyday banking services for customers of all major UK banks. It is currently operating from a temporary location in the reception of the Town Council offices while plans progress for a permanent Banking Hub in Falmouth.

What is a Banking Hub?

Banking hubs offer shared banking services to customers of all the UK’s major banks.

The hub includes:

  • A counter service operated by the Post Office
  • Private spaces where customers can speak to someone from their own bank, provided they bank with a major high street bank

Temporary location

The Banking Hub is currently based at Falmouth Town Council offices as a temporary arrangement. This ensures continued access to banking services while a permanent location is being secured.

We will share updates on the permanent hub as soon as further information is available.

There are disabled parking bays opposite the offices on The Moor. Additional pay-and-display parking is available nearby on Webber Street and in the short-stay car park on The Moor.

Yes. The counter service is available to customers of ALL major UK banks. To speak with a community banker, you will need to be a customer of the bank available on that day (please see rota above).

You can pay in cash and cheques, withdraw cash, check your balance, and make bill payments or top-ups. Business customers can also access change-giving services.

No appointment is needed for counter services. If you wish to speak to your bank’s community banker, you may need to book directly with your bank.

A different bank is available each weekday through the community banker rota. This rota is subject to change. Please see information above for the current rota.

The hub provides many everyday banking services, but it is not a full bank branch. Some services may still need to be completed directly with your bank.
