Charlie Cooper Dance – The Debut

Charlie Cooper Dance, the adult dance school in Cornwall, is taking to the stage for the first time!

The Debut is more than just a show, it’s an invitation to be a part of something bigger; a celebration of community, it’s the beauty of belonging. With styles ranging from Lyrical and Contemporary to Commercial and Heels, even our choir will be making their first appearance. Each piece carefully choreographed and designed to portray a different part of our journey into becoming who we are as a group. An evening of dance, music and entertainment.

It’s a statement. It’s our introduction.

Dance is a universal language; it brings us all together. The Debut features an incredible range of performers: professionals, beginners, mothers, students, business owners, teachers, the list goes on…

So, what does our show represent exactly? Coming together, connection and community, all driven by dance. It’s a space to feel safe, to embrace your sensitivity and to enhance your strength. No matter your age, your background, or how you feel, dance and music will always hold a place for you.

At Charlie Cooper Dance, we strive to be a wholesome community who continue to support one another through dance, not to mention creating friendships.​ We dance together, we laugh together, and we cheer for each other. In every class we overcome challenges and celebrate successes, and now we’re ready to take to the stage. We’re ready to invite you into our world.

Who knows, you may find a little part of yourself within our community too.

Throughout the interval we will also be selling raffle tickets (please bring cash) – Profits from the raffle will be donated to Cornish charity, WILD Young Parents, to support the incredible work they do for young parents and their babies.
