Little British Rail – Train Rides

For the the first time ever a steam train is visiting the Princess Pavilion! Little British Rail bring a lovingly engineered miniature locomotive to the gardens, offering a nostalgic ride perfect for all ages. Listen to the gentle chuff of the engine, feel the breeze under the Victorian veranda, and wave to passers-by as you loop around one of Falmouth’s most beautiful landmarks.

Join us on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2025 for a truly special event, as a beautifully hand-crafted steam train arrives to delight families, garden lovers, and railway enthusiasts alike. For £2.50 per ride, you can experience the joy of steam travel on a charming, hand-built track that winds its way through the Pavilion’s glorious subtropical gardens.

Whether you’re visiting with children, indulging your love of railways, or simply looking for a unique way to enjoy the Pavilion’s enchanting setting, this event promises a fun and memorable experience.

Rides will be running 10am-5pm throughout the day. No booking required – just turn up, hop aboard, and enjoy the ride!
