Front of House Bar & Barista, Princess Pavilion
Salary: £12.50 per hour (£13.45 from April 2026)
Contract: Casual worker, flexible hours
Reports to: Bar and Café Manager
About the job
We need friendly, engaging bar and café staff to work with our terrific team at the Princess Pavilion. Duties include:
- Preparing and serving drinks to customers including alcoholic, soft and hot drinks
- Serving food and snacks
- Engaging with customers and providing excellent customer service
- Using a till to take orders and process payments
- Checking customers identification and age verification
- Checking and validating event tickets using scanner or manual methods.
- Issuing wristbands to eligible attendees and making sure they’re securely fastened and visible.
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar and café area
- Occasional kitchen porter duties
- Monitoring and refilling stock levels as needed
- Clearing tables, wiping surfaces to a high level of cleanliness
- Providing timely and efficient service behind our high-volume event bars
About you
You’ll need some experience of working in a bar or café, be highly motivated and able to work in a busy, fast paced environment, including evenings and weekends.
You’ll need great customer care skills and be able to work well with customers, colleagues and management.
