Youth Council Engagement Officer

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 12-14 £28,598 – £29,590  £7,729 – £7,997 Pro Rata; £14.82 per hour

Contract: Fixed term, 10 hours (2 days) per week to March 2027

Reports to: Access & Interpretation Manager

About the job

This is a fabulous opportunity to help create, develop and support a new Youth Council for Falmouth.  

Duties will include engaging with local young people, teachers, residents and community groups to ensure young people’s voices are heard and represented at local, regional and national levels. 

About you

You’ll need first-hand experience of working with young people in a supportive and collaborative way.  

You’ll need to work well with others to create meaningful engagement opportunities and support young people to develop leadership, decisions-making and campaigning skills.
