We're looking for someone to help us manage bookings and pitch preparation at our sports pitches at the Dracaena Centre.
Football & Sports Pitch Attendant
Salary: £14.36 – £14.84 per hour
Grade 4 SCP 12-14 £27,711 – £28,624 (Pay Award Pending) pro rata according to hours worked.
About the job
Have you got a passion for football and other pitch sports?
This is a seasonal role managing the bookings, preparation and maintenance of our sports pitches at the Dracaena Sports & Recreation area and changing rooms in the Dracaena Centre, a community hub in Falmouth.
About you
You’ll need some knowledge of pitch layout for football and other pitch sports and a good awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
You will need to be highly motivated and organised. You’ll also need great communication skills and work well with customers, community groups and the public.
The role will require a flexible approach, as the working hours will be seasonal (mainly August to May) and variable depending on fixtures (and the weather). Hours of work are mainly weekends, and some occasional weekday evenings.
