Energy
A Carbon Reduction Plan is being prepared which will outline the steps which we will take to deliver a more sustainable council which can continue to deliver services to Falmouth residents. This will be published early in 2024.
The Council has contracted an energy supplier who guarantees 70% energy from renewable sources.
For any new projects, we aim to ensure that the latest sustainable technologies are employed to reduce our energy usage and where possible install renewable energy sources as part of the project.
It is also our ambition to keep our residents informed about what they can do to reduce their carbon footprint which will also help to reduce their costs.
Other organisations are better placed to advise on specific actions you can take to reduce your carbon output
