Important information for Jake Bugg at Princess Pavilion – August 13th
Dear Ticket Holder,
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the Jake Bugg concert at Princess Pavilion on Tuesday, August 13th. We want to make you aware that this date coincides with the Red Arrows display during Falmouth Week, which will make the area extremely busy throughout the day and evening.
To help you plan your journey and enjoy your evening, please read the following important travel information:
🚨 Red Arrows Display – 18:15 on August 13th
- The Red Arrows will perform a 20-minute display at 18:15.
- In previous years, this event has attracted up to 45,000 visitors to Falmouth.
- Significant road closures, traffic congestion, and limited parking are expected throughout the area. For up to date information please visit the Falmouth Week Website.
🚗 Travel & Parking Advice
- The Princess Pavilion car park will be completely closed to the public.
- 3 x blue badge holder spaces will remain available to customers with both valid tickets and blue badges. These will be first come first served on the day. Spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed.
- Roads near the seafront will close from approx. 15:00 and will reopen when crowds have dispersed and it is safe to do so.
- On-street parking near the venue will be heavily restricted or unavailable.
- Parking options include:
- Hornworks car park by Pendennis Castle
- Falmouth Rugby Club
- Ponshardon park and ride
- Falmouth Town Station
- Town Quarry car park

🚆 Public transport
- The Truro–Falmouth branch line will be busy.
- No trains will be stopping at Falmouth Town Station all day on August 13th.
- Please use Penmere or Falmouth Docks stations instead.
- Information about busses can be found at Fal River.
- We recommend booking any taxis in advance. A list of Falmouth’s taxi companies can be found on the Falmouth.co.uk website.
Princess Pavilion Grounds
- The Princess Pavilion building and gardens will be closed to the public all day.
- Both the bottom garden gate and the main entrance will be open for entry to the gig. For purchasing tickets or guestlist please come to the main entrance.
At the gig
- Doors will open at 18:30.
- Street food will be available from Lil Joey’s serving smash burgers and Locky’s Kitchen serving flatbreads.
- No dogs, no pushchairs, no bikes, no scooters.
- No bags larger than a sheet of A4.
- No reusable water bottles or drinks bought off site. Water stations will be available around the site and reusable plastic cups will be available for £1.
- 14+ entry, but an exception for babies in arms.
- Raised platform for wheelchairs, please contact pavilionevents@falmouthtowncouncil.com in advance of the event.
- Please don’t bring your own chairs, there will be first come first served seating with limited stage view at the back of the garden.
- Outdoor and Indoor bar.
✅ Our Recommendation
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:
- If possible Arrive early to take in the Red Arrows show.
- Plan your parking in advance and allow plenty of travel time.
- When parking please be mindful of road access for emergency vehicles.
Doors for Jake Bugg open at 18:30. We’ll have food traders and drinks available in the garden from that time to welcome you. Lil Joey’s will be serving smash burgers and Locky’s Kitchen will serve flatbreads.
