Town Guide

A new Falmouth Town Guide is being launched this week and 7,000 copies will be distributed over the coming weeks to a wide range of outlets including local shops, businesses and attractions.

Town Guide Launch

The new glossy Town Guide is an excellent source of information which will prove to be an invaluable reference for residents and visitors alike. It is packed with practical information ranging from details of local services, organisations, transport links, education, health and emergency services. Local attractions, arts, crafts, music and regular events are also featured along with useful street, area and location maps.

The Town Mayor, Councillor Mike Varney, stated ‘Falmouth has been without a town guide in recent times therefore it is fantastic to finally see its re-launch. It has taken a great deal of hard work to get this off the ground and I would like to particularly thank all the local businesses who were involved for their contribution and support and David Pollard who facilitated the process. The result is an extremely professional and informative town guide which really highlights what a vibrant Town Falmouth is’.

The Town Clerk, Mark Williams, added ‘the Council has looked at the quality and type of information it provides to the Falmouth Community. The guide complements the information available on the website and planned newsletters’.

If you would like a Town Guide they are currently available for collection from Falmouth Town Council, Municipal Buildings, The Moor and from the Tourist Information Centre on the Prince of Wales Pier.
