Plastic Free Falmouth Pop-Up Banner

Plastic Free Falmouth were delighted to receive their roll-up banner to promote awareness of the problem of single use plastic. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Tony Parker, purchased the banner for the group and said ‘I am pleased to purchase a roll-up banner from my Councillor Community Chest for Plastic Free Falmouth for the group to use at community events. The Council fully supports the aims of Plastic Free Falmouth, and this will assist Kirstie the co-ordinator to promote awareness of the environmental problem of single use plastic within the Falmouth community and this banner will help greatly to raise the group profile at organised events and presentations.’

Kirstie Edwards, Plastic Free Falmouth co-ordinator said ‘Thanks very much to Councillor Tony Parker at Falmouth Town Council for accessing his community chest fund to buy us this brilliant roll up banner. @sailflags have yet again smashed it and done a brilliant job putting together this marketing tool which will be popping up at all our future indoor events. It’s another sign of just how much faith has been placed in this campaign by local council - their support has been outstanding from day one. From our point of view it is absolutely lovely to finally have some professional kit to take with us to events.’
