About the job
Based at Falmouth Art Gallery, the role will support the learning team and work with the Access & Interpretation Manager, Digital Engagement Officer and a core of artist facilitators.
This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on work experience in a range of gallery and museum education and engagement projects. With art and social justice at its core, we aim to build engagement with our communities of young people in Falmouth through inclusive, interdisciplinary, and accessible programming.
You will work primarily on our youth programme ‘Splanna’ for children aged 11-14; on events to increase the engagement of young people aged 11-30; and on delivery and programming of our regular family activity.

Falmouth Town Council is ambitious in its projects and passionate about local service delivery, offering generous pension and other benefits. Using our collection, exhibitions programme and Falmouth’s rich heritage, we aim to create inclusive and accessible opportunities to explore new and contemporary dialogue with the young people of Falmouth.
