King Charles Primary School welcomes the local community

Scientific investigations, exciting writing, animation, Oyster Festival flag design, maths games and music-making are just some of the activities that King Charles Primary School will showcase to visitors at its annual Open Day on Saturday 8 October 2011.

The School will be open between 9.30am and midday and looks forward to welcoming you whatever your interest is in its vibrant educational community.

"Whether your children are approaching nursery or primary school age, or you just want to join us to celebrate the achievements of our pupils and experience the all-round education that King Charles offers, we would be delighted to see you," said Head Teacher, Heather Taylor. "There will be delicious refreshments in our French cafe, our Nursery and Reception class rooms will be open for you to view, our staff and governors will be on hand to answer questions about the School, and our pupils will act as expert tour guides to give you a flavour of exactly what it is like to learn with us."

“We have no doubt that those who join us for our Open Day will see just how special our community is," added Chair of Governors, Colin Watts. "At King Charles, we go the extra mile to nurture our pupils' talents and interests, and prepare them for successful futures. We look forward to seeing you there."
