The Town Council is changing the way it manages its services, buildings and asset maintenance and has a vacancy for a Facilities Manager to lead its Facilities Team.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge and experience of facilities management, managing a team and managing contracts and projects, to deliver effective maintenance, compliance and operation.
The post holder will be part of the Council’s Senior Management Team. They will need to be motivated with a track record of managing and dealing with people, have good communication skills and be passionate about promoting Falmouth and ensuring it is a clean and safe environment to live and work in.
The post is for 37 hours per week with some evening and weekend work, and call out. The Council is an accredited employer offering generous pension and other enhancements.
