Falmouth Town Guide

Falmouth Town Council is currently in the process of compiling the new Town Guide, which will be published in Spring 2007.

The book is a high quality A5 portrait publication, in colour, with a laminated art-board cover. It will have a long and effective shelf life and will provide a compendium of local information, including detailed mapping, which is indispensable to both visitor and resident alike.

Attractions, heritage and cultural information is listed, together with local history, town development, shopping opportunities, leisure, parks, entertainment and a wealth of other topics and events.

There is a limited amount of space available that offers an exceptional opportunity for businesses, services and all other kinds of organisation to promote themselves, whilst demonstrating support and commitment to the local community. The Guide will be free of charge and distributed widely through various official channels including, council offices, libraries, tourist information office, hotels places of interest, businesses etc.

The book is to be published by Burrows Communications Limited – Burrows have been market leaders in this type of work since 1901. Their project manager Roger Preston is working with the Council. If you would like to speak to Roger or Jeannette who is assisting him in the interim, they can be reached on 01326 379399 or 07957173154 (Roger) 07753729171 (Jeannette).

The Town Council hope that businesses will choose to take advantage of this unique opportunity for business promotion and help make the new Guide a great success, as well as reflecting Falmouth as one of Cornwall’s leading commercial centres.
