Members of Falmouth Primary Academy’s School Council visited the Mayor recently to find out what the Mayor does and to take a look at all the Civic regalia. The youngsters enjoyed asking the Mayor lots of questions and looking around the Chamber and Parlour. They even held a mock Council meeting in the Chamber discussing the important issues around reducing rubbish and increasing recycling. The Mayor commented “this is a fantastic engaging group of youngsters who are very aware of issues that are affecting the local community and the world as a whole and it is very encouraging to see how keen they all are to make changes to improve the environment”.
