Sea Shanty Gala Concert

Kick off your festival weekend in style at the Princess Pavilion on Friday 12th June 2026 with a very special one-off seated event!

This year’s Sea Shanty Gala Concert line-up is something special:

Figurehead — a powerful all-female a cappella group from North Cornwall, beloved for their rich harmonies and deep love of traditional maritime song.

Month’s Advance — Emily and Josh bring fiddle, ukulele, double bass and a brilliantly irreverent take on songs of the sea. Foot-tapping guaranteed.

Orkney Sea Shanty Society — back by popular demand after a stunning 2025 debut! This 20-strong group travel all the way from Scotland’s Northern Isles with Orcadian songs, fiddle tunes and shanty favourites.

The 85ers — active RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew from Portishead who sang for the King at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle. Shanty singing with real salt in its veins.

Tickets for the Sea Shanty Gala Concert are available directly via SeeTickets, the official ticketing partner of Princess Pavilion.
Tickets can be bought in person from the Princess Pavilion Box Office, normally open Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm.
