Sand Safe Awareness Event

Join Falmouth Town Council and our Safer Falmouth Partners at this year’s Sand Safe Awareness Event at Gyllyngvase Beach.

The event aims to raise awareness of simple ways we can all help keep our beaches clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone throughout the summer season.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with Falmouth Town Council’s Environmental, Education and Enforcement Officers as well as our Safer Falmouth Partners and learn more about:

• Responsible BBQ use and disposal
• Preventing litter and waste on our beaches
• Protecting wildlife and the coastal environment
• Beach safety and respectful beach use

The event forms part of Falmouth Town Council’s ongoing Sand Safe campaign, encouraging everyone to help care for our coastline and Leave Only Footprints…
