Falmouth Folk Festival
Falmouth Folk Festival!
Returning for its second year, FALMOUTH FOLK FESTIVAL will be taking place at Princess Pavilions on Saturday 18th July 2026. This is a free event, with a true community focus, and you are invited to make a day of it! There will be bric and brac and clothing stalls to support refugees, Nos Lowen dancing, fine food and drink from the Pavilions Cafe and a full day of live music from some of the best folk musicians on the scene.
The Falmouth (and surrounding Cornwall) folk scene is immense, eclectic, diverse and hugely talented – and this event showcases many different types of folk from local artists, from traditional tunes from Cornwall and across Europe to bluesy Americana, Cornish language song, harmony singing and modern protest music.
Musicians are playing for the love of their craft and to give you a great day of entertainment, over two stages; the amazing Victorian Bandstand, and the magical Grotto stage hidden in the garden cave down the hill towards the beach…
All donations towards the musicians will be gratefully received on the day, and any money raised from t-shirt and print sales will go to the acts. Supporting your local music scene has never been more important in trying times, but simply the act of turning up and having a wonderful day is the true aim of the day.
This is a free event in the Princess Pavilion gardens, so no tickets are on sale.
This event is open to all ages.
