Falmouth Christmas Tree Festival 2025
Falmouth Christmas Tree Festival – “Swim and Sparkle”
The Falmouth Christmas Tree Festival is back at Princess Pavilion and Gyllyngdune Gardens, running from Sunday 30 November 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026. Entry to the festival is free for all visitors.
This year, 33 local community groups have created unique handmade decorations for each tree, all inspired by the festival theme “Swim and Sparkle.” The theme celebrates the community-led appeal for a new wellbeing hub and 25-metre swimming pool at Pendennis Leisure Centre, highlighting the importance of accessible facilities for residents of all ages.
APCL A&P Falmouth is proudly sponsoring the festival once again, funding all trees and lights and supporting the apprentices who help install them.
Each tree features a QR-code ornament, allowing visitors to make donations directly to the Pendennis Leisure Centre appeal. The festival also includes the Tree of Wishes, where visitors can leave messages for loved ones or hopes for the future. Donations placed here will support Miracle Theatre’s Small Miracles Initiative, which helps young people in Falmouth and Penryn access creative opportunities such as performing, writing, technical theatre, and event management.
Mike Spicer, Managing Director of APCL A&P Falmouth, said:
“Each year the festival gives our apprentices a chance to support the local community and apply the skills they are learning during their apprenticeship. We’re delighted to sponsor this event again and hope visitors enjoy exploring all 33 decorated trees.”
Nicola Burgess, Community Engagement Officer for Falmouth Town Council, added:
“APCL A&P’s support ensures the festival remains free for everyone. We’re thrilled to welcome even more community groups this year, and the ‘Swim and Sparkle’ theme is a wonderful way to highlight the Pendennis Leisure Centre appeal.”
The trees are displayed throughout the foyer and under the veranda in Gyllyngdune Gardens, offering a festive and family-friendly experience for visitors of all ages.
Opening times: Visitors are welcome throughout the day, from 30 November 2025 to 2 January 2026.
