Notices of Poll for Falmouth Town Council By-Elections

The Notices of Poll and Notices of Polling Stations for the forthcoming Falmouth Town Council by-elections have now been published by Cornwall Council.

The by-elections are being held to fill one vacancy in each of the following wards:

• Arwenack Ward
• Penwerris Ward

The Notices of Poll confirm the candidates standing for election in each ward, while the Notices of Polling Stations provide details of the polling stations for each polling district. The notices are available to view below and can also be viewed on the Cornwall Council website.

Important election dates

Register to vote: Midnight on Tuesday 28 July 2026
Apply for a postal vote: 5.00pm on Wednesday 29 July 2026
Apply to change or cancel an existing postal or proxy vote: 5.00pm on Wednesday 29 July 2026
Apply for a proxy vote: 5.00pm on Wednesday 5 August 2026
Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate: 5.00pm on Wednesday 5 August 2026
Polling day: Thursday 13 August 2026, with polling stations open from 7.00am to 10.00pm
