Falmouth’s Town Mayor, Councillor Alan Jewell, invites residents and visitors to a festive evening of fun and community spirit at The Mayor’s Christmas Variety Show, taking place at the Princess Pavilion on Saturday, December 13 at 6:30pm.

This spectacular event promises a night of music, comedy, dance, and local talent, all in support of the Mayor’s chosen charity for 2025/2026, Pendennis Leisure CIO. Hosted by Julie Skentelbery of BBC Cornwall, the show will feature heartwarming performances from across the community, ensuring laughter and entertainment for all.

Mayor Alan Jewell says:

“I’m delighted to be hosting the first-ever Mayor’s Christmas Variety Show! It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the amazing talent in our community and support Pendennis Leisure’s efforts in bringing a much-needed swimming pool back to Falmouth. I’d like to give a huge thank you to all the acts taking part, for giving their time and energy for free. Their generosity shows the incredible community spirit we have in Falmouth. Come along, enjoy a festive evening, and join us in supporting this fantastic cause!”

The Mayor’s Christmas Variety Show is raising funds to support Pendennis Leisure’s campaign to bring a public swimming pool back to Falmouth at the old Ships and Castles site on Pendennis Headland. The charity currently operates the Pendennis Community Centre, a thriving hub for community activities and wellbeing initiatives.
