Venue: The Moor to Prince of Wales Pier

Parade gathers at the Municipal Buildings on The Moor and proceeds to Prince of Wales pier for a Service at 11.00a.m. then continues to parade to the Watersports Centre for a reception.

Organised by the Falmouth BID, title sponsors National Maritime Museum Cornwall, this is a vibrant, community orientated event, the first main Festival of the year. Celebrating Falmouth’s open and green spaces with activities like Falmouth Spring Clean Day, Zumba Zestifal, Paint the Town Yellow Day, Run Falmouth, Folk & Cider Fayre, a host of guided walks and Party in the Park.

All part of Falmouth Spring Festival, we aim to make this the largest open air Zumba event in Cornwall! Join Helen and her team from The Core fitness as they show you the rhythm and moves of Latin dance!

Venue: The Moor

Part of Falmouth Spring Festival, take part in Falmouth’s half- marathon in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care. Starting and finishing at The Moor in Falmouth, registration at The Packet Station (Wetherspoons). The scenic routes take in Gyllyngvase, Swanpool and Maenporth beaches. Last year, over £16k was raised for the charity so please support this event once again!

New for 2013 as part of Falmouth Spring Festival, two days of live music, over 20 ciders on offer, plus art and craft stalls, hog roast and Cornish ales.

Fal River Festival - Fri. 24th May to 2nd June

Venue: Various locations in Falmouth and the surrounding district.

This festival celebrates the River Fal and all the events / venues that take place from Marathon Runs to Art Exhibitions, Plays and Cinema.  The Opening Ceremony on Fri 24th brings all the participants down the river in a flotilla of boats to Events Square for music and refreshments.

Spain Attacks! – Wed. 29th to Fri. 31st May

It is 1593. Arwenack in Falmouth, the home of Sir John Killigrew, is attacked and burnt by Spanish Raiders – will Pendennis Castle be next? Feel the anticipation as Sir John and the Garrison prepare for attack. Watch as gun crews practice with the mighty cannon of Pendennis and meet the Garrison in person.

Mind, Body and Soul Festival - Sat. 1st and Sun. 2nd June

Venue: Events Square

The festival aims to bring together people, organisations, traders and practitioners in the areas of eco-living, complementary medicine, alternative technology, spirituality and personal growth.  It will offer a space for spiritual seekers to share ideas, beliefs and philosophies.

Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival -  Fri. 14th to Sun. 16th June

Venue: Custom House Quay, The Moor, Events Square and other locations.

Shanty Bands and Singers from all over the UK and the continent converge on Falmouth for three days, bringing a huge diversity of shanties, performed on stages throughout the town.  The Opening and Closing Ceremonies are held on Events Square and traditionally close with The Fishermen’s Friends from Port Isaac.

Now timed to coincide with Falmouth International Sea Shanty this sailing event will be three days of dedicated classic boat racing.

Out on the water to the shore from the Moor to Events Square and many other venues the annual Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week will bring a full and varied programme of entertainment.  This includes the carnival, yacht racing, fireworks, air displays, daytime and evening entertainment bands/acts, children’s activities and much more.
