RFA ARGUS ARRIVES BACK IN THE UK AFTER SIERRA LEONE DEPLOYMENT

The Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship RFA Argus has arrived back in the UK having completed its deployment to Sierra Leone where it supported the fight against Ebola.

Her embarked helicopters from 820 Naval Air Squadron departed on Monday 6 April and have arrived back at RNAS Culdrose; and the ship arrived back into Falmouth today, 7 April at 0800.

Fun for all the family at the Tremough 2015 Community Games

The Falmouth and Exeter Students’ Union (FXU) warmly welcomes students, staff from the universities and local families to the Tremough 2015 Community Games at the Penryn Campus on Sunday 3 May from 12 noon until 4pm.

This festival-style afternoon will showcase a range of sporting and cultural activities, offering something for everyone, from the young to the young at heart.

Event co-ordinator Hattie Frisby has put together an action-packed programme to encourage everyone in our community to get active and keep the Olympic legacy alive.
