Admiral Nelson Site Public Session

The new plans to redevelop the former Admiral Nelson pub in Falmouth are to be discussed by town councillors on Monday evening (18th May) ahead of the planning committee meeting, though, a public session will be held to enable residents to air their views.

It is expected that members of the Admiral Nelson Action Group will be attending the meeting, as will representatives of developers, the Acorn Property Group.

The now derelict site in Bar Road has long been the centre of controversy as several different companies have attempted to redevelop it.

Launch of the Falmouth and Penryn Community Plan public consultation

This week every household in Falmouth and Penryn should receive a new copy of the 'Fathom' newspaper published by Falmouth Town Council.

This new edition however is rather special, as the paper has been given over in its entirety to a public consultation on the proposals for the Falmouth and Penryn Community Plan.

Community Plan Co-ordinator Ray Tovey said ‘this is a real opportunity for residents of Falmouth and Penryn to advise how they want to see their communities develop and grow. I hope they will grasp the opportunity’.
